We’re Tracy and Adrian, the Founders, CEOs, and hands-on operators of Abacus Care 
We created this service to offer support that feels personal, genuine, and life-enhancing.

Together, we share a love of nature, adventure, animals, and exploring Tasmania’s beautiful landscapes. Our passion for the outdoors and our strong belief in holistic wellbeing inspired us to start Abacus Care with a goal: to support others not just in daily life, but in discovering what’s possible.

Our company is truly family-run, with our adult children also providing support under our guidance, ensuring our values of care, connection, and trust remain at the heart of everything we do.

Tracy brings over 15 years of nursing experience, having worked in aged care, hospital settings, and general practice. She’s also an accomplished photographer and continues to run her own boutique baking business, adding creativity and warmth to the care she provides.

​

Adrian has a diverse background in IT, communications, drafting, disability support, and renovation work. He also has a deep passion for Tasmanian history and enjoys sharing that knowledge with participants during trips and conversations.

 

We built Abacus Care to be something more — a service that feels like family, treats people with dignity, and creates opportunities for participants to thrive, recharge, and truly live.
